My interests as an illustrator include architecture, the history of architecture and the conservation of the built environment. I have a post graduated diploma in architectural conservation.
Artist’s Impressions, naturally follow from this interest, using plans, elevations, local references and client briefing.

Historic Reconstructions, too, rely on as much reference material as possible They are imaginative interpretations and serve to bring to life a scene from the past and not to faithfully recreate it.

My interest in Illustrated Maps developed out of a fascination with plans and aerial photographs where buildings inevitably play their part.

My work is usually line and watercolour; some of which is created digitally.
